Foot Traffic: Southern Maryland

  • Foot traffic and future home sales have a strong correlation.  SentriLock, LLC. provides NAR Research with monthly data on the number of showings.
  • Foot traffic in the area covered by the Southern Maryland Association of REALTORS® gained, relative to 2010 in February.  This was a reversal of the trend from January.
  • Strong, tax-incentive-induced traffic last spring may out-pace current traffic later this spring.
