  • The typical NAR member had 12 years of experience—an increase from 2010, when the typical member had 10 years of experience.
  • Broker-owners who don’t sell typically had the most experience—28 years.
  • The typical sales agent was the newest to the business with 9 years of experience.
  • One in ten members entered real estate in the last two years, while one in five have over 25 years of experience.
