Foot Traffic: Long Island Board of REALTORS®

  • Foot traffic and future home sales have a strong correlation. SentriLock, LLC. provides NAR Research with monthly data on the number of showings.
  • Since April, foot traffic has been much stronger in the area covered by the Long Island Board of REALTORS® than the same period in 2010.
  • Foot traffic is also stronger than September of 2009 suggesting that this will be a stronger fall market than the area has seen in at least two seasons.
