2013 Firm Survey: Benefits, Education, and Training Posted in Did You Know, by Jessica Lautz, Director, Survey Research and Communications on September 24, 2013 The most common benefit that firms offer to independent contractors, licensees, agents is errors and omissions/liability insurance at 79 percent. Firms reported that 72 percent of their staff has academic degrees. Thirty percent of firms report that all of their employees have a designation or certification in real estate. Firms typically require 21 hours of training for new sales agents, 12 hours of training for experienced sales agents, and two hours of training for other staff.
